The Most WoNdErFuL Time Of The Year

Christmas this year was so great! I was lucky enough to get to talk to my Brother Blake on Christmas Eve and talk to Taylor on Christmas! It was soo much fun. Blake sounded amazing and i loved hearing him laugh. We got to talk for about 2 hours before we made him hang up! The first time we tried to hang up and neither of the phones turned off! haha it was great. Talking to Taylor was a blast too! It was so good to hear him! We had it on speaker phone so we all talked and laughed together. I'm so excited for him to come home in 3 months! CRAZY. I can't even believe it. Christmas morning was a little different for us this year! I've never had to be woke up by my parents before :) haha. I got a new laptop! I was SO happy. Its a Macbook Pro and it will definitely be put to some good use! On Christmas Eve, Grizz got attacked by 5 neighborhood dogs! It was scaaaary. He had a few bite marks and a hurt leg! He wouldn't walk on it for a few days but he is fine now. Such a great Christmas this year!

Merry Christmas!

I love Christmas time! Its the time of the year that everyone is happier and many great memories are made. My favorite part of Christmas is Christmas Eve at Grandpa and Grandma Gubler's. I can't wait! I also can't wait to talk to my Brother on the phone! He's so awesome. We had our Ovard family Christmas party on Sunday, and Santa came! We had lots of fun... didn't we family?

Winter Wonderland

Today was my first true day in the snow. Me and Kort woke up to a white, snow covered world! As we began to head off to class, we opened the front door and just stared. Ah! My car was COVERED in snow like 6 inches deep! What did two St. Georgians know about snow?? NOTHING. So we just stood, looked at it, and laughed. Luckily a nice neighbor boy helped us scrape the snow away and we were able to drive! And this is only the beginning... :(

Silly Things

These are some of the top things that have happened to me lately.

1. One of my best friends came home! We are so glad to have Oviatt back! It has been so much fun.

2. Sam fell down our stairs the other night. hahaha that has gotta be one of the funniest things i've ever experienced! Man he is big and it was loud!

3. Mine and Kortney's "shortcut" in the parking lot didn't work out so well. So there is a median with rocks in one of the SUU parking lots, and me and kort like to drive over it as a little shortcut, not to mention its really quite funny. Well the other day we went to use our shortcut, and a car pulled up so we couldn't drive forward! We stared at the other driver like "what are you doing?!" but in reality, what were we doing! So here we were, in a little honda on top of the rocks, and no where to go! We had to back out and go the right way. :)

4. Thriller! This is so much fun every year! The dancers are amazing.

Pumpkin Carving!

I honestly never thought i would start a blog until i was married... so it could be like a journal for us you know?? Well I guess thats not gonna happen cause here i am, sitting in my room with Kortney, trying to figure out how to do this dang thing! And its hard! Oh well i will eventually figure it out with lots of help. I am living in Cedar right now. I won't lie, i miss St. George's weather. I'm so cold here! I've been having so much fun though. Last night we carved pumpkins! Most girls had a boy to help them... well not me :) so i tried to carve "Voldemort" into my pumpkin but it just didn't work out. So i ended up with a full moon! And no, that doesn't mean i flashed everyone my full bum! You'll just have to see it. Happy Halloween!
